Electrical Services
When you have any electrical problems in your home, the first and major consideration is safety. Because of that, every one of our electricians are not only very experienced, but are also trained to the highest industry standards and they all hold any required federal or state certification for carrying out electrical work. We want our customers to have the confidence and peace of mind that comes with knowing that the electrician we send to your house ticks all the required boxes. Get in touch with us immediately if your home is experiencing any sort of electrical issues.
Lighting While, initially at least, blown light bulbs is a problem that you can fix simply by replacing the old one, if the same socket has bulbs burning out frequently, then there may be another issue which needs professional attention. It can be the same if your lights are flickering; a simple bulb replacement may fix the problem but if the lights continue to flicker, then there may be a faulty or weak connection in the socket or with the wiring. If either of these issues persist, then it’s time to call in one of our professional electrical contractors from St. George Handyman Services. Danger! There are some signs of electrical problems which can be indicative of a potentially major safety concern. If any of your fixtures or switches remain warm after being switched off, then this could lead to an electrical fire. It may be that the switch is in the process of failing, or that there is faulty wiring to blame, or even that the switch is overloaded. While some switches, such as dimmers, can remain warm for a time, they should not be overly hot. So if you notice any ‘abnormal’ heat in any of your switches or fixtures, turn it off immediately and call one of our professional electricians. Dead Sockets or Outlets If one of your outlets or sockets is completely dead, then there may be a number of causes. It may be simply a blown fuse, or the circuit itself may have tripped. If your plug is not fitting into the outlet, then it may be that the outlet itself is broken or worn out. If a simple fix such as replacing the fuse has not worked, then you should call us to send one of our qualified and certified electricians. They can quickly diagnose the issue and advise on repairs needed. Maintenance Many homeowners now choose not to wait until a problem occurs and instead book regular maintenance and inspection visits. While this is of course a regular expense, it can help you make drastic savings on future work by identifying minor issues before they become major = and costly – ones, thus saving you money in the long term. Our team can inspect and maintain all fixtures, fittings, and wiring to ensure that they are all in optimum working condition and that your home is 100% safe all of the time. |
